IP Services: Incubation

The HBG ("Huddersfield Business Generator") is a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by the University of Huddersfield. Its objects include include supporting new businesses in the creative sector by providing subsidized office accommodation, mentoring and other business support. So far it has 15 tenants, 30 virtual members, 70 associates and 50 friends. The high point of the year are the annual Capella awards ceremony for the most promising projects of the year.

Business Link West Yorkshire and MYCCI also provide substantial advice and assistance with business start-ups.
